Anne Curtis reveals how Sam Milby showers her with much love

‘Goddess of Beauty’ Anne Curtis claimed that if Sam Milby “keeps up how he is” then he could really be the one for her. The young actress was looking radiant as she described Sam’s avid courtship of her. “We’re very, very, very happy. Even working with him [in Dyosa], nakadagdag ng time namin together. Although hindi pa talaga sobrang nagkakasama dahil konti palang yung eksena namin,” she began. “Sometimes nagvi-visit siya kahit wala [siyang] eksena. Talagang he takes time naman to come and see me,” Anne said during a recent taping of her fantaserye in Trinoma Mall.

During the interview ABS-CBN.com discovered that it was the famed heartthrob’s “genuinely nice” personality which completely endeared him to Anne . “Even when he's Sam Milby talaga, hindi yun (stardom) napunta sa ulo niya. Siya pa rin yung naiilang. That's what I like about him,” Anne gushed.She could go on forever just listing down his winning qualities. But for her, what sets Sam apart from most guys is that he is a good listener—something which a lot of women are looking for in a real man.

Anne enumerates the instances where Sam proved such commendable attitude and thus making her feel truly special. “Kaka-start palang ng Maging Sino Ka Man, nabanggit ko lang sa kanya na “I’m a fan of The OC. Tapos nung nag-shoot kami for Smart commercial biglang binigyan niya ko ng hanggang season 2 ng The OC DVD set. Sabi ko ‘ba’t niya ‘ko binigyan nito?’ Or even when he went on vacation in the States—parang wala pang anything [kami] nito—pasalubong niya sa akinespresso magnet kasi favorite ko ang espresso sa coffee ko. So that's how I know na he listens to what I have to say,” she recounted.

When it comes down to it, it’s the little things that Sam does which leave a huge impression to this 23-year-old stunner. But of course Sam also knows how to lavish a girl with extravagant gifts. “Alam niyang favorite ko Channel. Na ang tagal ko palaging naghahanap ng Channel bag and they don’t make it all the time. It comes by season, minsan wala. [Tapos one time] pasalubong niya sa akin red Channel bag. Talagang wow... Ito yung galing silangGuamtapos nag-States. It was not even a birthday gift!” She further exclaimed, “To know that he went out of his way pa for no reason…tapos it wasn’t just a bag kasi alam niyang gusto ko.”

Anne in turn shows her all-out support to him in every single one of his projects including the recently-concluded Bench Blackout fashion show. “Super supportive [ako nun]. He saw us kasi we stood up, nasa VIP (seats) kasi kami ng friends ko. Hindi niya alam kung magsa-smile ba siya kasi feeling model ‘di ba? I super cheered for him. And for me he was the really hottest one there,” Anne proudly asserted. True enough, Sam had been a scene-stealer on the catwalk even without baring everything. “Si Sam kasi hindi kumportable even if he has the body, mahihiya yun. Even if he has abs mahihiya pa rin yun. [I was like] ano ka ba ang laki [kaya] ng katawan mo.”

Believe it or not, this perfectly-matched couple simply enjoys the company of each other particularly when they are doing nothing. When asked how this is possible, Anne contentedly replied, “Wala lang. We're just happy being in each other's company. Yung nagku-kwentuhan [lang] or mahilig kami manood ng movies. Nangyayari naman yun sa lahat ng tao eh. Napanood na namin lahat ng show so [when asks me], ‘what do you wanna do?’ [I’ll answer], ‘I don’t know. So ang ending namin nun Wii.” Anne confessed that they both got addicted to playing Tennis or Mario Kart Wii ever since she and Sam received their own Nintendo video game console as gifts from their non-showbiz friends. “D’un nag-start ang fun kasi bumili na siya ng 4 na controllers. So kapag group kami [na naglalaro] super fun talaga.”
